Hi all!
I am excited to announce that I will begin working at a Graphic Designer for Purdue University's Alumni Association. I will be working in a small team on printed promotional pieces, newsletters, an online image database, and the Alumni magazine.

Hopefully I will be posted some of my work on here soon. Thank you all for your support. I have grown so much as a designer and wouldn't have been able to do it without the dA community.

I am a graphic designer who has been creative & imaginative from a young age. I am a Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics Technology. I am a quiet leader who is ambitious, driven, & passionate about art. I love to read & write and am the producer of a graphic design web log. I have experience with all Adobe software packages as well as creative ability and artistic skill. I specialize in print media (such as business cards, brochures, & advertisements) but also have experience with web design and the Adobe Flash platform. I have won awards & been recognized for pieces I've designed. Alley9 Designs is the name of my new freelance company which specializes in print design. I am a small-town girl with big-city dreams.

I have been getting some questions about where the name comes from, so I thought I would share. My real name is quite common, so I wanted a search-able unique name.
I chose Alley9 because:
* It is unique and not associated with any other businesses
* Sort-of sounds like align, which is a key design component
* Is sorted early in the alphabet, so its at the front of phone books
* It rhymes with design
* Is feminine and cute - reflects my style

Okay, I have a really common name - Nicolle Miller, so I created this account for my business name.  So please don't accuse me of stealing the artwork of nicollemariemiller, because that is actually me.
